It started as a traditional baby spoon, but something original was forged through the explorations of renowned British-trained silversmith Robert A. Butler. There is not just beauty in the design, but practicality: a functional spoon that is easy for a baby to grasp, as well as a fun product which entertains during feeding, a unique teether, a rattle, a lasting gift.
The spoon is manufactured by the Solingen, Germany firm Carl Mertens, which dates to 1919. Each is marked "R.A. Butler, 18/10, Germany." Use only with adult supervision.
