Blockitecture Garden City is the brainchild of James Paulius, who was born in Chicago and graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2013. Paulius has an interest in designing products that integrate people with their environment to promote creativity, curiosity and joy. Blockitecture is a classic example of that: cantilevers hexagonal blocks are employed to create towers, cities and dwellings, accented by pavilions and garden terraces. Through this, children learn a belief in our ability to influence society and culture through the conscious creation of our environment.

James Paulus on his designs, "Much of my work deals with designing toy blocks inspired by architecture, landscape design, and urban planning. I aim for my toys to allow children to engage in their imagination through play while exercising their understanding of geometry and physics to build structures and cities. I hope to introduce children to the idea that we each have the potential to determine the design of our environments to create a better world for everyone."

Set of 20 wooden blocks includes 10 towers, 4 pavilions and 6 terraces. For ages 6+.
